    The Dynamixel XC430-W150-T Servo Motor from Robotis includes an electric DC motor, a reduction gearhead, a microcontroller, a driver and a contactless absolute magnetic encoder. It’s an intelligent servo with its own network, offering numerous different control modes for adapting your robotics project according to your needs. You can use these various control modes to manage the speed, power and PWM of your servo.

    DYNAMIXEL is a robot exclusive smart actuator with fully integrated DC Motor + Controller + Driver + Sensor + Reduction Gear + Network in one DC servo module.

    The DYNAMIXEL XC series adopts new features that allow 360 degrees control mode with its contactless magnetic encoder and hollow back case assembly structure. The XL series has the same mechanical structure as the XM430 and XH430 and is compatible with the respective models.

    XC430 is a high performance version of XL430 (Entry-level DYNAMIXEL), that can be applied to robots that require stronger torque.

    Metal gears are adopted to enhance its durability.

    Specific features of the XC430-W150-T model

    This waterproof servo is particularly efficient for creating ultra-fast mobile robots. It has a more powerful torque than the XL430, which means it can be used in slightly more powerful projects.

    Each servo comes with a compatible idler (assembled), an 18 cm X3P robot cable and all the spacers and bolts you need to assemble your servo. Not sure which Dynamixel servo you should buy?     How to choose the right Dynamixel servomotor?

    *This product is a model with plastic bushings, and the XC430-T150BB-T model is available with metal ball bearings at the same price.

    Caution

    DYNAMIXEL-X Series cable assembly through hollow case

    Organize the entangled cable before assembling the back case.

    Do not assemble the back case with entangled cable. The entangled cable can be squashed by the case and cause communication error.

    If you use two cables through the hollow case, the cables will be damaged.

    Use only one cable through the hollow case.

    The DYNAMIXEL-X Series adopted a new gold-plated JST connector for secure and reliable communication.

    The connector used for previous DYNAMIXEL is Molex.

    To control DYNAMIXEL-X Series actuators via OpenCM or USB2DYNAMIXEL, please use the JST-Molex Convertible Cable enclosed in the

    package.

    However, the Molex-JST convertible cable is NOT included in the XL430 model.

    Please purchase a convertible cable when using a controller and interface that supports the JST connector.

    DYNAMIXEL XC330-T288-T

    The Dynamixel Robotis XC range of servos is designed for roboticists requiring faster and more powerful servos than those in the more economical XL range. The Dynamixel XC330-T288-T offers a slightly higher torque and gear ratio for a somewhat muted speed (65 rpm, one of the lowest in the XC range). If you’re looking for a really fast servo motor, you’ll be better off with the XC330-T181-T, which has an equivalent input voltage range (between 6.5 and 12 V). But if you want to experiment with an economical, customisable and slightly more powerful actuator, the XC330-T288-T is an excellent compromise.
